I was a huge fan of DOOGIE HOWSER. Just the concept--of a teenage genius doctor--fascinated me, and NPH was so great in the role. Of course, as he grew older, the freshness wore off. I just loved when he was able to figure out cases before his elder doctors could, like a teen Dr. House. But he was always so nice. He had a great sidekick, too, as I recall. Enjoy! Love, Robin

I'm a few episodes in of this show and I absolutely love it! It's cute and funny... :D And I've been a fan of NPH since "How I met your mother"! So, seeing him in some earlier work is truly awesome :)

I used to watch Doogie Hoeser M.D. quite a lot when I was little. I loved that show, I thought it was so cool that he was so young but knew so much, sometimes even more than his superiors. Up until a couple of years ago, whenever I saw NPH somewhere, I'd refer to him as Doogie Howser. I didn't think he'd ever be as successful as he was again (he was mostly doing tv movies here and there), and I remember thinking he hadn't aged well, but...thankfully he proved me wrong on both accounts. ;D

hehe... I totally missed that show when I was younger... i don't know how that had happened. But I'm thankful that now i can enjoy NPH in all his awesomeness :D Seeing him in his teenage years is just so much fun lol I adore this show, it's just too cute.

Maybe it was never aired over there? Back in the old days we only had one channel, so whatever was on, I'd watch it. I wasn't very picky back then, heh.
I'm watching S3 of HIMYM, and I just watched the episode where Barney keeps getting slapped by women he tries to hit on because apparently there's some woman telling them bad things about him, and the episode ends with Barney writing on his computer with the music of Doogie Howser in the background...I lol'ed, hard. xD

I used to love Doogie Howser, but I couldn't tell you a plot to save my life now. It seems so long ago ;D I remember his girlfriend and his best friend, and that he used to end each ep by writing in his online journal. They recently made fun of that on HIMYM :)

That was a show we watched as a family, sort of, when I was growing up. What years was it made? I think I am the same age as NPH. It's so funny to see those episodes now when we thought it was such an amazing show/concept when it was made.

The first season is from 1989!! :) I'm already in a few episodes of season one and the show is really cute and funny! And seeing NPH in his earlier years is just adorable :D

why I love the xmas card? Because it's pretty! It's blue and it's sparkly... and you never could go wrong with blue sparkly things :D Plus the wizard looks awesome as well! I simply love that card :)
