Actually, two of Jason's songs have been played on the show. "I Remember" was played in an episode during Season 3 - and also, it's a Jason Manns song playing on Sam's iPod that Dean rips out of the Impala in the first episode of Season 4. JSYK. Info is from his website (http://www.jasonmannsfans.com/) and his MySpace, and also Jensen himself announced it in an interview during Season 3.
You seem to be one of those people who counts her own experience above anyone else's. That is unfortunate, because in this instance? You're wrong. You're unusually quick to defend someone you met once, who has probably had reason to be different so many years later. Things change. She was a girlfriend then, when you saw her - but now? Things are different. And I'd say she didn't earn her paycheck this time.
There are too many stories from behind the scenes that equate with what the fans saw. Really unfortunate. The worst one is where she refused to get Jensen food. There's just no excuse that I can come up with for that. None.
If I were Jared? I'd pay her double to stay home next time. Because Jensen obviously is too nice to say no to this out-of-work loser - and someone needs to tell her to get a job... one that she actually wants to do. There's too much history there for her to be effective at what they're paying her to show up for. In theory I guess it sounded good - but um, no.
